Directions
INTRA, 337 – 341 High Street, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1DA Map
The Medway towns are in North Kent, along an estuary river that joins the Thames. Rochester is around 35 – 45 minutes from St Pancras International or London Victoria by train.
Heading east from Rochester train station turn left from the car park and go along Corporation Street towards Chatham and away from Rochester bridge, cathedral and castle. Turn left onto the High Street at the traffic lights at the bottom of Star Hill, go past the Nags Head pub on the right, then Limehouse Thai restaurant on your left, a few yards more and you’ll see our building, set back a little in a lay-by just before the Ship pub. The INTRA building has large double glass windows and an Art Deco frontage with zig zags, and is about a 10 minute walk from Rochester train station or 5 mins from Chatham bus station.
Buses 145, 197 and 156 stop a few yards away outside the Cycle King bicycle shop, and opposite the Ship pub.
Opening hours
We are open on Wednesdays 2pm – 9pm, and Saturdays 11am – 6pm, both days by pre-booking only. We can sometimes arrange bookings or appointments to view the studio on other week days and weekends, but please contact us to check before making a special trip.
Parking & Accessibility
We may have a free parking spot available on the site behind our building on Cooks Wharf, please pull in the layby outside INTRA and ask us where it is. Take care not to obstruct our fire exit or access to our neighbours’ businesses and parking spots. There is short term paid parking opposite us on the high street, and long stay parking in a nearby car park on Doust Way.
INTRA has a small step of about three inches up to the front door, and then step-free access throughout the ground floor. There is a ramp available should you need it.
