Under The Sea themed roller prints
2 hours

Class size 8 max.
Suitable for 7+ years to adult
Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
Venue: INTRA

Create a printing block with an underwater themed design on a roller, then make super-long prints onto rolls of paper. Even better – you get to keep your roller block to use again!

In this fun printmaking class we will draw and cut into craft foam and fix the design to cardboard tubes. We’ll ink them up and print them with paint rollers. You’ll be able to make some giant prints of your own design in different colours, and join in with overlapping prints to make a big underwater mash-up! Everyone will get a piece of the jointly made prints to take home too.

It’s a super simple method, but you can get some very detailed and beautiful results. Most of the examples here were made by school children aged 8-12 years, but it’s not just for children – adults enjoy making these prints too!
