We run short courses for adults at our print studio using a book press press for linocut and relief work, a large etching press for intaglio, lithography, collagraph and lino, and vacuum beds or textile tables for silkscreen.
We also run printmaking classes for young people and family workshops.

Workshops for Adults

Screen Printing One
Make photo stencils from your own artwork and screen print them onto paper or textiles with Xtina Lamb. Coat a screen with emulsion, prepare your artwork, create the stencil and print with water based inks.

Build up a textured plate using collaged materials and print using an etching press with Kristiina Sandoe. Collagraph uses a hybrid of relief and intaglio techniques, opening up a very expressive range of textures and mark-making to the printmaker.

Carve and print a linocut with Nick Morley. Transfer an image to a block of lino, learn how to use tools safely to carve your block and how to sharpen them, ink up your block, choose papers and use a book press or the etching press to make your prints.

Create a lightweight thermofax screen from your own artwork and screen print onto fabric or paper. Combine with heat press techniques and foil / flocked textures for a wow effect!
